Reach Out Fellowship is an independent body of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, located in the Albany-Colonie area (Capital Region) of NY. After a prophetic word to Mother Verna in 1977, and a confirming word to Pastor Jerry in 1983, Jerry, Mort, and Verna Lynn, with a small body of believers, began meeting on July 3, 1983 as Calvary Chapel of Albany, in association with the Calvary Chapel Outreach Fellowships. After meeting in rented facilities, we moved into our own building at 218 Osborne Rd. in Colonie, NY, just north of Albany, on August 6, 1989. The Lord then called us to be independently dependent on Him, and we became Reach Out Fellowship on March 31, 1996.
